Audits

We will evaluate your safety management system and identify any shortcomings. Our audit will be an accurate assessment of your company's health and safety performance measured against your own internal policies and procedures and the latest government standards, including OHSAS 18001 Health and Safety Management System, International Standards Organisation (ISO) 14001 (environmental), British Standard (BS) 8800 and the government guidance HS(G) notice 65. The audit report we provide will contain an action plan for carrying out improvements.

We organise and conduct our audits so as to create as little business disruption as possible. 

Access audits

Part 3 of the Disabilities Discrimination Act will come into force in October 2004. This marks the end of the eight-year run-up period employers have been granted to ensure that all service providers and employers do not discriminate against people due to physical and mental disabilities.

Service providers (anyone who provides goods or services to the public) must make reasonable adjustments to their physical premises so as not to discriminate against anyone with a long-term disability. Employers are not allowed to treat anyone who applies for a job in a discriminatory fashion. They must therefore make reasonable adjustments to the fabric of their building to ensure this does not happen (install a stair lift, an elevator etc.)
